Ok i figured it out.

1. K6 machine can't cache more than 64MB
2. K6 have slow L2 on mobo
3. P-Pro has 256KB full speed L2
4. P-Pro has more RAM and can cache it all.

I just tried folding on my Athlon 1600+ and OMFG!!! Why even bother with the K6 and the P-Pro??? Jeeez...

Buzz I folded with my K-6 2 450 until I built my new rig and it wasn't too bad ,it took 2-4 days on most of the WU which I don't consider too bad considering I had it running anyways , I did take it out of service in feb. when I put my new rig online and I am going to get the old 450 back online soon as I get the time to get it back together , every rig helps

Buzz, if your running the screensaver version, ditch' em and get the console version and you can set up for team 78 easily. Also, will give you lots more points as they run ALL the time.

I'm not registering at the web site? Only choose username at when the client asks and then team number?

How about startup? Do i need to copy a link to the startup folder?

If you have put your username and team number on that one page you should be all set , I dont think your name will show right away ,I cant remember if it will show until you complete your first WU, as for startup ,the client by default should start whenever you reboot ,and run continuously after that ...hope this helps you out .
