Thanks to all the fine suggestions from this forum, and a little blind luck, my "homemade" pc is up and running.....so far. My problem now is logging onto the Microsoft Gaming Zone with their crappy "Passport" @#%$&*. It tells me to enable cookies, which are, and still will not allow me to login.
I am jonesin' for some Asheron's Call, which I have not visited for some weeks now. Any suggestions?

Right now I am using I.E. 5.5 and Juno as my ISP. I went through all the setup stuff through I.E. Options. Nothing needed changing. Cookies enabled and all that. You are so right about it being annoying, tho. Went through two days of hassles just to get signed up with Passport in the first place.
BTW, am using Win98.
