Broadband is down

Went down Friday morning. Comcast is sending a tech Monday morning.

We lost cable TV and internet for 15 minutes then when TV came back, internet stayed off. No sync light on the modem. Either the modem took a hit or the node is down (rural area here - I may be the only one on my node).

So I'm on a suck-ass 28K dialup (fastest my phones lines will go) :(

Oh well. Actually I'm so busy working on client computers this weekend I probably won't miss it unless I need to download drivers.

the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help

Welcome to my world lol.It sucks going back tp dial-up after having cable.I had cable 3 years ago before we moved to the country.I doubt they will have BB out here in the next 20 years.

Got back up Monday afternoon. They apparently were replacing some black boxes in the box for my street and knocked me off.

Before they figured that out the guy had gone through the motions of replacing all the wires leading to the modem and putting in new splitters, so as a by product I have a better signal. :)
