No JB dies early in the movie. I did see him in concert a couple weeks ago in Pittsburgh, 18 years of performing and still going strong. Man does Jon look good in a pair of leather pants ... ah nevermind, that's another post hehe :)

I liked it myself, but I had one problem with it: way too many depth charge scenes. I know that depth charges are a boats primary attack/defense against U-boats at that time, but that finally scene was just too much. Dragged on and on, showing the hull buckle and warp, over and over. It was a relief when the scene ended. Other than that however, it was a good flick indeed.

I saw the movie but who was Jon Bon Jovi in the movie? Didn't even know he was in it until now.

dry and boarding movie in my opinion. I liked Red October, and this was NOT on par with that.

Great movie, must see in Dolby Digital with a nice sub. Those depth-charges will knock some fillings loose!!!

i would say its a fair movie -i did and do like hunt for red october a whole lot better -
but u-571 is base on a true war story !
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help
