Case advice

All-
I'm in the market for a new machine and was wondering if this case I priced at newegg ($56) would be sufficient. Its a mid-tower with a 400 watt p/s

Case

i plan on getting the following: (think the case would be suitable?)

abit it7 mobo
P4 2.66 GHz
kingston 512 MB PC2700
maxtor 60 gb diamondmax
radeon 9700 pro
toshiba dvd-rom
memorex cd-rw

Can't tell from the pics if it has vents good enough for decent airflow from the fans. If it does then it should be ok. But what about the included power supply, who makes it? If it's the usual cheapy included psu then it may not last too long.

that's a good question. i think it's an Allied AL-A400. haven't heard of allied, but that doesn't mean anything, i don't know much about p/s manufacturers.

Allied ain't too good. It might do you ok for up to around a year. I had several blow on me before. Fortunately nothing else was damaged, but it could happen.


I'd check around places like newegg, koolcases.com, directron, kdc and see what all they have. You'll find almost too many to choose from. And see our reviews on some we did. ;)
