SoundBlaster IDE

Post by eGoCeNTRoNiX »

Hey Guys.. I've got one of those OLD soundblaster card/CD-Rom combos.. It has the IDE port on it.. Can that handle more than one drive? Like a master and a slave? I guess the only way to find out is to try it unless somebody else knows? TIA eGo

Only 1 port I think, and it'll be slow - I don't think it's even UDMA 33, just PIO.

Well, my idea doesn't seem to work too well anyways.. I was trying to put it in the Server I aquired, but I can't figure out how to save settings in it's ancient bios.. So I'm just gonna mod the case and put in a different board.. lol.. Thanx Though..
