For being the next series of chips......you'd atleast thing the heatsink manufacterers would get a clue and use a 3 prong clip

i don't buy it... everythign else i've read said the new hammers will have a mounting mechanism similiar to what intel is using now...

There are two screws; one on each side of the retaining bracket that are now tightened to secure the heatsink assembly in its proper position.

So it doesn't look to hook up into the CPU socket anymore .... but to 2 screws that somehow connect to the bottom plate. At least that's how it looks to me after a couple beerz :p

Huh? did you even read the review? The backplate goes on the back of the motherboard, and the heatsink clip screws down to it. What's the problem?

no.....i dont waste my time reading

i just look at hte pictures and come up with my own conclusions :D
