No big deal, but I have a GF2 GTS in my LAN party system which has an Epox 8KTA3 mobo.
Works great but every time you power it up from a cold start, I get a "can't find video card" beep error. If I then power down and reboot it'll POST just fine.
I had the same problem with this card and another VIA chipset mobo.
Just curious if there's a fix. I can live with it but it's annoying.
ANyone know of any issues with GF2 GTS and VIA chipset mobo?

The fix is....
Remove the card take it outside find a 32oz hammer smash the living shit out of it cause its Nvidia and replace it with something else that is non-nvidia
I had a lot of problems with my Iwill KK266 motherboard and a Gf2 GTS... that was when i finally shicanned that thing and bought that Radeon 64 Vivo from you i think... problem was solved. Symptons were just like your describe also.... sometimes in windows the screen would go wacko on me. It wasn't the card though it ran fine in my buddy's Intel System that was a 900mhz i think... Just another wonderful via conflict...

Yeah I remember this issue now. It was only GF2 cards and VIA chipsets. It also get worse over time if I remember.
Doesn't really matter - I'm upgrading my main rig's vid card soon and the GF3 Ti-200 will go in here.
