Does XP have WINIPCFG?

Post by Executioner »

My son upgraded his Win98 rig to XP. After the installation, we discovered that our Sygate sharing tool (to be able to share the modem) did not work. After conversations with tech support, they told me to run WINIPCFG on the Win98 server rig to get the DNS server info from my ISP. Once I plugged this info into XP, it worked and he's able to access my internet connection.

My question is: does XP have this same utility (WINIPCFG)? I did a search and nothing came up.

Make sure and open a command prompt window first, or else it appears then disappears.
