Wow. I just installed DX9 on my win2k box and it jumped my 3dmark2001se score from 8950 to 10650. Thats 1700 points. Holy crap! :) specs below

ATI Radeon 9500 Pro 128mb
Athlon XP 2000+
384 PC2100
Shuttle AK32A


I was kind of amused. I didnt think a new DX would do anything cuz it usually doesnt lol.

Did you update the CATALYST drivers too? That coulda been a big reason for an increase.

Nope all that changed was DX9. Was using catalyst 3.0 the whole time.
