i have a peice of software called flashget
it downloads files in multiple threads to speed up the download

well i have a unique situation....i have 2 lines(ameritech dsl and at&t cable) and thus i also have 2 gateways. flashget only seems to want to use 1 at a time
i need software that will be able to do the same as flashget only use multiple gateways
has anyone heard of such software

I use DAP every once in a while...dunno if it'll do what you want thogh. It's worth a shot if you haven't heard of it. Just go to http://www.downloads.com and type in "DAP" It should be the first one that pops up.

i've never heard of software for this except proprietary stuff for the 56k modem "shotgun" technology (using 2 phone lines connected to the same ISP). using 2 different providers with 2 different IP's...i doubt you'll be able to get it to work since the sites you download from will see it as 2 separate downloads as well, so getting it to split it up properly and rejoin on your pc would be tricky.
