networking ideas
I am wondering about networking the three computers I have, I am currently working on my A+ and Network+ certs and was thinking it would be benefical to me if I utilized a LAN to make sort of a study lab for learning. I am going to buy a router later today, but was wondering if I should get a switch or hub to make it as realistic as a network should be. I am trying to do most of my studying at home so if anyone has any ideas or valuable web sites they know I would appreciate it. I

Buy a router with a 4 port switch on it if you plan on sharing broadband.
No point in getting just a switch unless you want to play with a programmable one, and those aren't cheap.
