Shuttle Cube Users

Post by wvjohn »

wife needs a very small system for her office - i'm looking at the p4 flavor b/c it's cool and I have a 1.6a avail (of course it won't be available until after she buys a 2.4 or something cpu for her shuttle box ;) )

this will be for running fairly simple interactive programs -

lmk what your experience has been!

TIA

She has a Cel 1.1 and as far as I can tell there is no heat issues, and her system runs SETI@HOME when idle as well

when I had the sv24 it was Really hot. it had a 1g celeron in it. I mean there wernt any heat issues but it was to hot for my liking. the newer ones like the p4 one and the new AMD ones do cool alot better and have AGP slots. :)

They are nice and pretty feature packed. And near identical on speed.
