O yeah, about the green light trigger, I heard that the magnets from hard drives actually work better than the trigger, and cheaper too...well if you have a dead hard drive that is.

Athlon 1.4 Tbird - Killed during SLK-800 installlation :-D

Not too bad really..although the Epox death really, really pissed me off ;0

chow list

1 17" monitor - fried by turning it off with the rest of the computer
1 canon c5500 - threw away the ink carrier by accident
1 marble mouse - jack collided with a doorframe - trying to fix jack
1 8 gig maxtor HD - finally gave up the ghost - poss failure due to use of only one frame screw by previous owner

did you try setting the dvd to master on the second ide channel?
the new udma decives can be rendered invisible by slaving to another drive.

ps also my faith, hope and any dreams left for the future

- mebbe ill build a spaceship and fly away.

2 BBA 9800 Pro's.
The second one is on its way for RMA repair.
It's going in my kids Mini shuttle.
I just got a GeForce 6800GT to replace the 9800pro..
Workin for the man sucks!!
