Question about RMAing through Kingston, anyone know?

Post by Absolut Talent »

ok, I have some bad ram i gotta rma through kingston

so i am on step 2 of the rma process on their site

i need to tell them the manufacturer and the model of the ram.....

but for the manufacturer, its a pull down menu, listing all these companies, but I dont know which one this is. The chips say "nanya" on them, but nanya isnt a selectable manufacturer. Neither is kingston. So i am all out of ideas on what to put there

then for the model.....is that the same as the part number? which in this case is KVR266x64c25/256-R ? thats also what I put for the part number in the first box

anyone know what I should do?

heh, sorry this is my first RMA :D
