so i go to see that today
All i have to say is..... it's over?
that's it?

That wasn't a ending!

The movie was great till the end. It seemed like "well we ran out of stuff for the movie so we'll just end it right here"

AGH!
I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain

Hmm, that sucks. A bad ending can really kill a movie. I'm really looking forward to it and am hoping to see it soon, so I guess knowing it's going to have a terrible ending while going into the theatre will help when it comes time to the end. Must always be pessimistic! :)

Yeah, it should have ended when the ship picked him up, that ending was too sappy for me. I think the movie should of focused more on his life on the island..

I agree with you guys, the movie isn't that great... when I was watching the preview, I thought it will be a great "Forrest Gump" type of movie, but I was wrong... very very bad ending... and I agree with rogue about focusing more on his life on the lsland.

Just got to see it yesterday. It was a good movie, but I wouldn't classify it as great. His wife was a bitch though. She married at most a year after he left. And she said, "I knew you were alive the whole time" Yeah, right? What a crock. hehe.

I'm sorry..I haven't seen the film yet and am very unlikely to do so...

Why??? well I saw the trailer here in the UK for the first time on Friday and it just looks like one big advert for FedEx.....

I mean come on...the trailer was about 5 mins long and 4 mins of that was him moving parcels for FedEx....

Yeah that ending was pretty bad. Overall it was a good movie, but by the end it got depressing (doesn't get back with girlfriend :( ). I think the director didn't want to make the same old "nice Hollywood ending" so he made it the way it is. Not a movie to see more than once...

I think the movie did well for the time that it had. I see the issues they wanted to tackle but it must have been damn near impossible with the alloted time. Yeah I kinda felt that the ending sucked. They should have showed him going back up the road after her or something...

I liked this movie overall. There were much deeper meanings to events in the film, that I liked as well. The only thing I didn't like, is the ending, but it wasn't even that bad.
Damn pie thieves...
