i need tcp protocol for the network

but is ipx just noise on the network i dont need

tcp/ip is all you need delete any of the ipx protocols... and stop sounding so monotone :D

If you're connecting this network to the internet, you should install the NetBEUI protocol. Then you should unbind File and Printer Sharing from TCP/IP, and let NetBEUI handle these functions. For more info and instructions, check out Gibson Research.

Otherwise, there isn't much use for IPX anymore, you can safely uninstall it. Unless you still play some old network DOS games, that is...
