Holy Sh*z!!
Holy Sh*z!!
Newegg.com has 2800+ procs IN STOCK!!
But check out the price on that baby! Sheesh!
I want one, but I don't want to give my left nut for it. I gave the right one away when I was buying Intel and I'd like to keep the other.

i seen on avg the 1700+s going to 1800mhz . problem with them is they are running to much voltage and way to much heat. i have seen one 1800+ t bred go to 2000mhz with 1.8 volts. so its possible
thats just me waiting in the corner for better things to come. i got my 1600+ and its doing fine over 1800mhz

My prediction....
Ok, even though I paid about $320 for the Athlon XP 2200+ when it came out, I predict that the new Athlon XP 2800+ will drop to $365 (not counting shipping or tax) before December 1st. Yes folks, you can count on that. Come January 6th, I predict the price will be close to $285. Any more predictions?

i have to agree with you there. then let the good old times begin once again. cheep prices with awesome overclocks

actually they don't top out around the same spot. 2000+ don't tend to go further than 1800mhz.Originally posted by PreDatoR
That is because they all have the same stepping and top out around the same spot...
my 1600+'s run in uni mode and on a different mobo with real pci divisors (dually's tend to top out around 150+ except for the iwill, however there's major drive corruption from those as it has the same divisor. anything over 160 will cause corruption on a dually until higher divisors are around, but not likely until opteron) will hit 2000mhz. and if you ask why i don't run them uni mode, i will have to tell you that you don't know how much dually's pwn uni's ^_^
