how hard is it to mod my mobo so i can take my v core higher than 1.850.

If a mod involves soldering and/or component changes that you haven't any experience with - leave it alone.You'll be glad you did.On the otherhand, If you have some experience working around SMT without any major screw-ups and have good eyes amad a clear plan then by all means Go for it.I don't ever condem the "do it your self" crowd, but be forewarned; It's your board and your problem if you take a risk and meet failure.
