ATI - Trade Up Program

Post by Hipnotic_Tranz »

Just heard about this. Anybody do it yet? I'm kinda curious how it works. I looked at the price list and it says my card (Radeon 8500 64meg non-le) is SRP-US $199. I don't know if this means they will give me $199 for my card or not though. I know it isn't worth this much.

But if it's so, this means I could trade in my Radeon 8500 for a 9700 for $200 (plus my current card which is worth aout $80, so $280 total, really)

That ain't bad considering a retail Radeon 9700 at newegg goes for $340 and the cheapest I've seen it go on anands is $275. I'm gonna check it out more when I get home.

I'll give you $50 for that card. I'm sure it's cheaper to send it to me than ATI. :D :D :D
I'm not lazy by nature, I work very hard at being lazy.
