My new Rat

Post by Schwartz »

I got on of those new Logitech MX700 cordless mice tonight. Seems pretty spiffy. Feels very smooth like my Explorer V3 does. I haven't really given it a workout yet but I'll report back with what I think after I spend some more time with it. In the meantime here are some beauty shots...

well It's pretty I'll give it that :)

I dunno about those buttons near the scrollwheel though...I tend to just stab blindly for the wheel when I need it

are they programmable?

I don't like the buttons on it... looks sweet as hell and i wish mine was rechargable like that... I've got the Wireless Intelli Explorer and love it.... Have a Explorer V3 on my server like that one too....

Well like almost any new mouse I am still getting used to the different shape. I have probably only spent an hour with it so far but those little buttons near the wheel have not been a problem. In fact I don't even notice them and I have been wheeling away reading different pages. I like how the main buttons are molded right into the case. I haven't installed the mouseware yet. I guess I should go do that now...

if a mouse doesnt work with out GAY software I dont use it.

the mouse is pretty badass. I never use extra buttons on a mouse so I dont really care. I dont notice them when using the mouse and it is very responsive.

The mouse worked fine without the software. I haven't really done any gaming with it yet but I assume the buttons would be able to be mapped without the software being it is a USB mouse. I did just install the Mouseware that came with it and need to spend some time with it before I decide to leave it on or remove it.

about all I dont like is the quality of the rechargable batteries that come with it. they only last about 2 days. Nothign major though.

THis mouse does glide better then ANY mouse I have ever used before though. so I ca save my mouse scates for another mouse.

Hands down, best mouse I have owned or used. Wonder if they are gana come out with a dual optical verson. :) :)

No problems with mine. I uninstalled the mouseware. I didn't like it.
