WTF? Norton NAV subscription renewal now costs $20?!!!!

Post by FlyingPenguin »

When did that happen? It used to cost $10. Moreover (I haven't confirmed this, but a client told me and I'll check his system tomorrow) it looks like you can't use the renewal on more than one computer.

As he pointed out, at $20 a piece for 3 computers, he could have bought a single copy of the new NAV 2003 and installed it on all his computers for a year instead of upgrading the subscription update for NAV 2002 on each one, and saved $10.

I bought one copy of 2003 for about $10 after rebates and will be using it on as many as I need it for. you can get around the subscripotion thing for the time being by making sure your clock is properly adjusted ;)
