I'm thinking about getting DSL. There is only one place in the area that provides it. It seems Kind of pricey to me, for what you get. Here is a price link and check out these terms of use. What do you think?

I dont know seem pretty pricey and the terms of service seem a little on the harsh side. Just for comparison I have Road Runner cable I pay $45 a month and get 2Mbs download and 365kbs upload. TOS says no servers but they dont care about Peer 2 Peer stuff like Kazaa or Napster. I heard a rumor that they planned a data cap but Road Runner has denied that by email to me. As it stands now there is no data transfer cap.

Well im more or less getting screwed by verizon
80 a month for 1.5/384
I can get a cable line for 40 but it's only 512/128
On the plus side Verizon scored some brownie points with me when they refused several subpoenas from the RIAA a while ago
my account also comes with a free dial up account (that ive never needed)
Oh and when I asked them about p2p and running small servers their reply was pretty much "whatever"
gotta love that

Matt for some odd reason i think your full of it. I've got Charter i pay 45 a month for a 768/128. Of course i don't get thier shitty cable service or it would be 35. But i've priced a 1.5/128 account with them and it was 65 a month 10 off if you have their shit cable... Unless you managed to get a business account but those are actually more... And i seriously doubt that Charter charges different rates for different areas also...
