another way to unlock XPs

Post by wvjohn »

might be old news, but new to me

fill the pits with ol' fashioned silicone compound

connect with defogger paint

no crazy glue razor blades, etc.

anyone tried this?

John, used the defogger paint and a crayon to fill the pits on mine. Took a couple tries, but got it. Has been working at least 6 months now :) Oh, definitely need a magnifying glass too.

i like that crayon idea... the one reason i don't unlock my cpu is because you have to go out and buy all these weird unheard of chemicals from some 3rd world country. Does anyone know a way to do it with just common household items?

crayon and a conductive pen or defogger repair stuff from loctite. I used super glue to fill the pits the couple times i did mine.
