Need Help with Buying hardware

Post by sabwafare2001 »

I am thinking about upgrading very soon. I have about $400.00 to spend. I have had my cpu for about 2 months now and my motherboard about a month. I was thinking about getting some pc2700 512mb ram, better heatsink and fan combo, or XP2000+ or XP2200+. I am interested with overclocking also. What would yall suggestest I get considering what's coming out in the near future and my specs. Please don't limit the chioces to the items I listed. Thanks.

GIGABYTE 7VRXP rev. 2.0

Get Some Samsung PX2700 a Thermalrite SLK600 or 800 heatsink a quiet 35cfm fan. That Orb isn't a very good cooler. You probably hit 1.7-1.8 gig with that 1800+. I've got a 1600+ thats running at 1.83 gig right now. Once i do a voltage mod on my motherboard i'm sure i can get 2 gig easy.
