3.73 rear. 4 wheel disc brakes. I also have a 76 trans am with a 70 455 sd 4speed. t tops.

geek1543,
I think we'd all like to see that car. Please try to post it.
I've never cared much for the '50s stuff myself, at least not enough to want to purchase one. The cars couldn't have driven well originally with their primative suspensions and braking systems plus they were just too big for me (I've never driven a '50s US made car). They were also way before my time even though I was born in '56 (yeah, frickin' old now
). Once all re-done with more modern parts (like show, street rod or drag race versions), then they're cool, no doubt.

Back in the 60 everything was stright line racing. I hated 55,56 because thats what everybody had. That does not mean they werent cool. Back then I had a 59 plymoth fury conv. 361 b engine. I raced it with 3 different options bendix electric fuel injection, inline dual quads or long ram induction (dual quads) all factory stock. This thing ran in the low 10's. If someone wants to email me how to post the pictures I will.

The Mustang 5.0s are one of the better overall "muscle cars" of more modern times IMO because the engines are tough enough to be easily modified for even more power yet the cars are still affordable compared to many others (like the 'Vette for example) unless you're going for one of those exotic type custom 'stangs that is.
Another good modern day muscle car on my list of possibilties would be the '95-'96 Impala SS.
One of those 2 might find a way into my garage someday, that or a restorable yet affordable older muscle car, depends.

Ladies man. ITs funny you should ask. I recently have a been offered a chance to get in ground level, open wheeled racing, and I will need to sell this to get the money. It runs mid 11's consistently. It doesn't have MSD igniton, it still has the smog pump and A/C compressor on it. It also still doesn't have an electric fan. If you removed all of that, and put 90/10 struts in the front, I'm sure you could get low 11's maybe even high 10's. The fastest the car has ever been, is 10.20 @ 127, that was with the smaller supercharger pulley and nitrous. It is only runnning 8psi of boost right now. If your serious let me know. I'll tell you right now I have turned down $7500 down 3 times now, from 2 different people. Right now I would take $8000, cause I need it. If I wait till april I know I can get $10,000 at the Turkey Rod Run. Rezillo19@email.com
