Good PDF Converter?

Post by TruckStuff »

I need a utility that will convert a PDF file to text, html, or just about anything but PDF. The problem is that its a pretty complex PDF in terms of the way it is laid out. I searched for one on google and none of them worked well enough for me to work with. Anyone have any luck with a particular program? Thanks.

Just use adobe acrobat... i've never seen anything that would convert a pdf worth a damn so that would be your best bet...

Actually Acrobat retail (at least 4.0, don't have 5) will only save as a PDF or export as a Postscript file.

Even acrobat reader didn't do a very good job. Would the full version of acrobat work better?

That's what I have - full version 4.0 and it only saves as PDF and PostScript formats.
