I have an AK35GTR too, and like it just fine. Had an Iwill before that and would still have it if it were compatible with XP cpus.
It is a little scary for me to think about all the different mainboards I have had - Intel, Biostar, Abit, Soyo, Microstar, Iwill....
If I had to pick a favorite brand, I would vote for Soyo. Every Soyo board I have ever owned or used to build a system has been rock solid and problem free. Some had pretty limited feature sets, but are good boards. On the other hand, I know that Abit has some very loyal fans, but I am not one of them. I have not had good luck with their products and will not buy or recommend an Abit board again.
If the Dragon was not so expensive, I would have bought it instead of the AK35GTR. But the Shuttle just was so much more value for the price that I couldn't resist...
Very happy with my Shuttle. Just wish my Crucial PC2100 would go past 144 FSB. It won't...

well.....I only have 2 mobos here
one is a p3v4x for my server
my main rig is a MSI k7t266pro (which I wonfrom the amd giveaway)
I personally like the msi one better. Havnt had anyprobs, bios is nice and neat, came with fuzzylogic and live bios updates
I think the next board I buy will be another MSI, just cause I am very happy with the one I got now

I've been having pretty good luck with
my AT-7 1800+ set up. If anything I would do away with the on board sound,
it just sounds crappy in some games.
I like the Giga-Byte boards i have an old
G7EX something or other that runs well with a 1gig Duron @ 1330 and some pc-100 (i guess i could put 133 that i have laying around in).

Mine are the Aopen Ax6bc, an older BX slot 1 that I used for 3 years +, going from a celeron 400 to an overclocked celeron at 1200. Solid & trouble free.
Currently I have an Epox 8k7a that I bought slightly used 16 months ago and its my first real stable amd mb and still my main machine.
I have an Epox 8kha+ thats fine, a Gigabyte Ga7dxr that my son used thats okay and a pair of asus tualitans that Im playing with, tuv4x & a tusl-2c. No real issues with any of them. The asus bios menu is very dated and quite different from the other mbs Ive been using.
I have to admit 90% of my problems were self induced or overclocking related.
