Well my system seems to be working just fine, but I think I need to change a jumper on this IWILL XP333 though. I boot at 1100 with a 1700xp! Hmmm, Underclocking?
I think I saw something about a jumper setting for 100fsb being the defualt, I think I might need to change it 133fsb. Wach ya think? Or should I just be different and see how far I can underclock?
If you can't run with the big dogs, turn around and set your own pace in the oposite direction
go into the bios and set the FSB to 133 and it will boot up at a 1700+ or 1.46 Gig... The XP333 for some reason after installing a new chip sets the FSB at 100 by default just as a safety thing... You will have to go into the bios and bump it up... BTW damn nice board there...
I will do that! I like this new board so far, haven't set everything up yet, just doing one thing at a time.
Still need to connect the front USb and extra sound stuff for the 5.1.
Just started playing with the AIW to so if it worked. It did, but I liked the old interface better. Oh well, I probably will use other software instead of the media player anyway.
Just set it in the back room, cooler here, and got it workng. Now time to leave for Texas. What a bummer, should have put the system in the van instead of the back room, could have left the wifey drive!
