Post by PreDatoR »

Where's a decent place online to buy a gamepad and whats a decent one... I've still got my trusty MS Sidewinder 3D Pro Joystick but for games like GTA3 ti would be nice to have a pad... any recommendations?

The original MS gamepads were fantastic, not sure about the later versions.

Be careful with gamepads and GTA3. Mine would only strafe left and right and not turn and aim and such. I find the ole' keyboard and mouse combo work best but to each his own.

Gravis makes a cheap one ($20) that is like a regular Playstation 1 controller.

The Thrustmaster Firestorm series is very nice, as is the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad.

Thanks for the input. Busby i figured i'd use the mouse and keys when runnign around but for the car i think a gamepad would have a better feel i'm all over the place with my joystick. Anyoneknow a decent place online to buy one at? Newegg don't see mto have any or i just can't find them.
