OT: (Sorry, paranoid) -=- How reliable is newegg.com?

Post by nunz »

Hey.

I sent a MO and apparently the post office didn't get it there fast enough, so my order is void.

On void orders they return the MO, but I'm MOVING.

So, would it be certain that newegg.com will in fact mail my MO back, and that the post office will re-direct it to my new place?

I don't want to be out $117 :(

My picture on the left shows that I don't make too much money as it is!

Newegg is the sh!t. Don't worry about them. Worry about the post office. Why don't you just re-order while they got the money order???? :Q

Or call them up and see if they still have the mo and then make your order, as Wraith said.

Newegg is one of the best. I ordered a new 40x12x40x Plextor on Sunday night and got it on Thursday. Not bad with Monday being a holiday. :)

Newegg is VERY reliable. In the future, maybe you could give the cash to your folks and have them order for you by credit card. It's a quicker, safer way to shop. You can always dispute payment by calling C.C. company if there is a problem.

I've prolly done over 6 grand worth of biz with them, between my stuff and system builds for peeps. I got one refurb mobo from them ( Iwill xp333 rev 1.0) that sucked pretty bad but they took it back and credited by cr card for a full refund. Just make sure you take any beefs/RMA's with them over the phone and not online.

bottom line = they are a quality vendor to be sure.

I've had great luck with a ten or a dozen deals with Newegg. The default shipping is fedex ground, which works so much better than UPS.
