Perfect Storm is excellent!! A very well-done and moving film. Very good acting too. Althought I'm not sure how many times anyone would want to watch it all again. Myself I can watch action films over and over but this one isn't like that, to me anyway. Maybe a once a year type watch.
Haven't seen the cell.

The Perfoect Storm is not too bad a film at all...
The Cell however is a real pile of dross....very stylish in the looks department but I have never seen a film which has such wooden acting....very dissapointed....the only plus point was when Jennifer Lopez strokes her pussy for a few seconds.....and I mean her cat you perverts!!!!!

Thanks fellas,
Since I was thinking of getting them, one of my work buddies overheard me asking about the flicks and went out and got them for me for xmas. I started watching the cell, but can only get approximately half way through and something always seems to pop up where I cannot finish the darn thing!

the cell has some interesting scenes, but is not very entertaining. definitely a blockbuster rental. if it tried to be avant-garde shockfare, it failed miserably. Lopez can't act, i do like d'onofrio though, he reminds me of Meatloaf.
i havent seen the perfect storm, but I bought it for my uncle for christmas (which means I get to borrow it).

I didn't like neither one of them. To tell you the truth, I'd say those two were the worst movies that I have seen in sometime now. I was so psych after seeing the previews but was so disappointed that instead of making a quality films to draw the the crouds in they spent most of the budget to use semi-famous named actors/actreses to do the same job.
