the only radeon that has video in is the AIW I think. the normal 8500's only have video out. same with most cards.

If you have a decent vid card now, go pickup an add-on TV tuner card. Most OfficeMax stores carry the WinTV PCI card for $50. The UBS version is around $75.

I use the USB version myself.

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.a ... 315&DEPA=1

Asus V8200 Deluxe Titanium ti200 64MB GeForce 3.

$179 plus shipping at the link above.

Maybe a Radeon AIW also.

While we are on the subject, what add-on card with VIVO would you recommend for video-editing? I used to have the AIW and it was great but then I upgraded to an 8500 64meg (not AIW) and now I'm wishing I got hte AIW. Instead of sellin' this card and getting an AIW I thought it might be cheaper (and produce better results?) if I got a seperate card...

...what do you guys think?

Pinnacle Systems makes good cards for video editing purposes. Also Dazzle.

i got a dazzle video capture card. works great. one factor to consider would be what video source do you plan to capture from. your video editing software also plays a big role.
