This is my P4 1.6a @ 2.2 16x138 DDR running at x 1.33 of the FSB for 184/368DDR Epox 4BDA i845 Board. Very nice OC'n board wish the AMD side of things would incorporate a few of the features of this board into some of the ali and via boards. I cna run this chip at 2.4 but can't use the 1.33 mult. mem thing for 200/400 DDR mult. and my mem scores really drop then.

WOW! Nice scores Pred. How do those multiplyers work on the board using P4? How fast is the memory running anyway?

Blade_146, I am running Ultra DMA 5 (Ultra ATA100 I think) on a IBM 40gb 60GXP (7200RPM) I am surprised by the score, as it is fairly high.

I would look into your cords and stuff.. For SCSI, i have no idea what to look into..Cords maybe?

Sweet overclock on that 2 Gigger... What kind of ram you using. I'm assuming DDR judging by your mem score. I'm gonna try to find a better HSF than this stock one... Load temps hit 122F i think with better cooling i can clip the 2.6 Gig Mark. I can get it to boot into windows at that speed but it hangs and i'm thinkin' its cooling holding me back.

512MB Corsair PC3000 for the RAM.

It is a Gigabyte GA-8IRXP mobo.

AVC Sunflower on the chip. Been thinking about water or an Alpha.

It will go faster but will start the temp throttle crap with the Sunflower when I am playing a game.

Well upon getting my new Shuttle AK35GTR in and doing some benchmarks with PC Mark here are the results. Only the mobo changed.

Iwill XP333-R:

CPU: 4483
Mem: 2341
HDD: 1094

Shuttle AK35GTR:

CPU: 4571
MEM: 2858
HDD: 1225

Now for only a mobo change I would say the gains are semi-impressive. Is the difference really noticeable between the ALi and the VIA? No not really, but the RAID preformance (ATA133) is lacking a little on the Iwill b/c of latency issues. I have even compared HD Tach scores and the burst speed increases on the Shuttle and the Sequental Speeds are a little higher but not too much.
