System presently:

1g Tbird (was from old system)
I Will kk266 (old system) onboard sound
that huge alpha heatsink
Radeon 7000 64meg agp
intel nic
784 ram :)
60g Maxtor

16x slot pioneed dvd

Internal Power strip so only one plug is on the outside.

Then the whole inside of the case wil lbe lined with quorter inch plexiglass for stability.

Been bussy working on my bathroom (that I am fully replacing...all the flooring) and some school stuff (papers, and a sales pitch). Bit I have been cutting the plexiglas between them all some how. I how have the base, 2 sides cut, and the rim for the lid cut.

I ordered up 2 more fan grills (they are the metal spirial/hurricane design ones), they fit perfectly on the bottom section of the case. I will have clear blue fans behind them pussing and pulling the air.

I have removed the fan and top section of my PS so it will fit better.

Im now wishing I picked up a low profile heatsink for the cpu yhough. that is becoming my greatest prob presently...well that and time.

I was thining maby fish tank glue would hold this plexiglas in its place. Any ideas? it seems like it would have to be really sturdy.

If that goop stuff don't work, you might try some pcv pipe ccement, try it on scrap FOR SURE several times before trying on anything good! Not sure if it will really work, but I used it alot in a factory job a few years back, they used it for tons of stuff and different types of plastics!

All it is basically is plastic disolved in keetone or acetone (not sure). But it sort of melts the parts then sets solid. Not sure what the effect on clear plexi though, might turn the seams white or foggy, so if you try it, BE SURE to test on scrape!

I used elmers household rubber cement for holding in a piece of metal. What I did was cout out that spot in front the HDD rack on the SX830/40, than cut a piece of aluminum to fit perfect (with a hole for a fan of course) and glued it in. It doesn't even budge anymore. It needed a long time to dry. After one day it holds, but after a week, it is almost like welding.. :)

Just an idea. Good luck

Just cut and installed the first 2 fans. between the latches and handle.

Have also changed the monitor from the mitsu to a sony SMD-S81. It is skinier so that makes it easier to fit everything in.
