Ummm...shit....

I got it off..<--good news

But, there's this light green spot in the outside green border of the NB..I think this is bad... I am going to try to take a picture.. ooohhhh man... :-\.............................................

AH, I'll jsut leave it in the hands of god now..

So, I just use isoproyl alcohol now, to get all that crap off. Will 70% work? That's all we have right now. They don't sell 99% in MN... (I think)

Well, I have TONS of fragtape still left on there. What do I do? Is it ok if I use a screw driver/razor blade on top of the NB? There is probably half of the frag tape left on there. I have been using my finger nail until now. Can I use something sharp?

you should be fine with a razor blade as long as your careful... i'd just use my fingernail to get all off that i could and clean the rest with alcohol... Some good ole Acetone works best if you ask me just don't use to much and get it all over the place.

Sometimes, I am just amazed at how much abuse these parts can take. There are times when I think I ruined it all. But it just works like normal.. Very cool..

Isopropyl won't take that off. At the very least you'll need Goo Gone, but it took me about 10 minutes with acetone before mine was clean.

I got it off. I used my fingernail for most of it. Than used ispropyl alcohol and sorta scrubbed the rest off. Now I can see the faded AMD sign, and the little lettering below says, "AMD - 761." I hope scrubbing didn't hurt anything.. :-\
