Anyone try that Chicken Wopper at BK?

Post by nexus_7 »

Thing was awsome. Best tasting chicken I have had at a fast food place Ever! kind of expensive but worth it.

I saw a commercial (that actually aired TWICE in two different shows) which makes it look really good, but the thing that made me think I was going insane was at the end of the commercial it said "Cluck when you order and get 50 cents off". I'm thankful I had that on my replay after it aired the second time, I rewound the commercial, and listened again.....and sure enough, that's what they said. I don't know if it was only in my area or what, but that is the wierdest thing I have ever heard. I wonder how many people have done it so far to save 50 cents?

I do want to try it though, it sounds good.

Like hell if I'm clucking at a drive through (LOL :) ) that's just too funny. Can you imagine everyone inside laughing their arses off as you're sitting there in your car clucking :)
I'll try one but I'd rather just pay the $.50 myself.

Hey tunis5000, I've got a better one....Went to Taco Bell on Saturday and they were out of chips....I told the guy to crush some taco shells or something so I could have my nachos but he said that it was against health regs. :p

Finally went there for lunch today (drive though) but not only do I not do chicken imitations very well, I really wasn't sure if I'd take this notion seriously especially in that I've never heard about it elsewhere, not at BK either. I told another guy at work about it and he was practicing :) , pretty funny (actually does chicken imatations very well, to my surprize) as he was almost convinced that he'd get $.50 off. It'd be hillarious too if it wasn't at all true and there he was in the drive through as the only guy clucking away ordering that. I'd bet everyone inside would be in stitches too :)
Well, sorry but neither of us were impressed and prefer the good ol' beef whopper instead. I just wish they'd bring back their $1 whoppers on wednesdays again but they must have lost money on that deal.

I'm a huge fan of grilled chicken sandwiches, but I was a bit dissapointed. It didn't have a "grilled" flavor... kinda bland really.
