Let me guess, the chimp is afraid of huge spiders? That's why you always hangin' in the trees, huh. :p

Me? I am not afraid of them, just huge ones. They reallt freak me out if they get close to me, but overall, I don't care. if they get in my way, I will kill them. otherwise, I just leave them alone. :D

You know what I'm afraid of.... chipmunks! YES, chipmunks. This is the second time drivin' down the street one decided it would like to kill itself. The damn failure didn't, but I swear to god I'm gonna try to hit him next time!!!!

Sorry to go off on this tangent. Spiders? The small ones aren't bad. THe ones with the big abdomen that are all hairy and shit kinda get on my nerves..

Unless they're huge, like the type we see in northern WI which some people call "dock spiders" which get to the size of a silver dollar, almost like a small torantula and it's either in the fishing boat near my hand or too close for comfort, or a more normal type but hanging over my food, I tend to ignore them as they eat other bugs, are benificial and usually don't bother anyone.
My wife (on the other hand) will get me up in the middle of the night to kill one if she sees one close to where she wants to go although she's been better about that over the years as I'm not exactly nice when woken at 3AM to kill an bug (not adviseable to wake me up).
A couple summers ago when we were staying up north in the family cabin my wife was upset about this huge spider that even my son didn't want to mess with. So when I saw it, I too was amazed because it was about 1/2 the size of a torantula. After squashing it I later felt bad about it as I should have just moved it outside instead thinking that anything that old probably should have been spared.
Another time I was in the boat and one of those had a nest right where I was sitting and before long, there were LOTs of little spiders all over that nest. Well, it went overboard as I didn't want all of them crawling on me while driving the boat.

I appreciate how spiders are beneficial in that they kill other insects. But the idea of being bitten by one makes me want to "Killem' all!". :D

They are too sneaky. You usually don't know they are on you till it's too late. I remember coming home from work one day and at night when a spider spun his web and came down from the visor and right in front of my eyes! :; I was in heavy traffic and going around curves but somehow I managed to keep control and grabbed him and threw him to the passenger side and pulled off the side to finish him off. But the sneaky lil shit hid from me.

When I got home I just fumigated my car.

Snakes don't bother me at all because I can see them usually first. And they don't spin those darn webs that keep hitting me in the face.

if they are in the house I squash them, otherwise I usually let them be. I have seen a few extreamly rare and neet looking ones just to go squash crazy. :)

Spiders don't bother me but if an ugly one gets too near all bets are off.

As far as I'm concerned, spiders are Satan himself
Every so often I try to masturbate a large word into my conversation, even if I'm not sure what it means.

Worse than spiders in the car is a wasp or hornet buzzing around you while you're on the freeway in heavy traffic. I've had that happen and it's no fun. In fall we get those nasty yellow jackets here that like to buzz around and pester you, no fun at picnics either. I've also been stung by a few of them as they'll land somewhere, like under your shirt and you won't notice it until "ouch", not a good feeling at all.
