This is gana be fun.

What I have planed so far:

kk266, onboard sound, 1g Tbird, sk6, 512ddr, R 7000, Maxtor 40g, Intel nic, Slot dvd, and Probably a HP or Sony FP.

Havent decided if I want the FP to face OUT or be on the inside....

Ill probably get some more mirrored Plexy grills for any external fan opening, or jsut use normal wire grills. they both would look good with this case I think.

Ideas, sugestions, complaints?

My only suggestion would be to make sure you wire it so you can open it with ease. Probably something you'd do. That's all I can think of. Make sure you post some pictures, I have to see this! :D

if you are gonna use a flat screen for it, It woudl be VERY cool if it was on the inside. So it would have to be open to use it

maybe also add one of those "indestructable" keyboards with it (the ones that can be rolled up and are liquid resistant)

coudlnt you have just made a briefcase out of legos or something?
cant wait to see this one completeed though

If I have it facing the Outside though I can run it eithor Open or Closed. I dotn even want to THINK how much $$ in legos it would cost me 2 do this.

Im gana have the Mboard placed somewhere in the middle or atleast so the plugs are on the inside and Ill just run extention cables to holes I drill for the random ports I want. :)

My typing is Bad enough with out them Crazy keyboards.

More ideas for the box.

with all the components at the Bottom, have a thing of Plexy glass ontop to cover them all up. Then have another fan Baybus to control the fans. would Probably have 2 fans i nthe plexy glass its self, and then another 2 in the sides of the briefcase. I think that would Look really cool.

the plexi would look really sharp - maybe a little tint too?

Where do you buy large tinted plexi pieces?

Was also thinking. Have plexi on the bottom inside and attach the Mboard and other assorted things to it. That way I wouldnt be making unnecessary holes i nthe case its self.

SO much stuff to plan. :)

I think the Mboard tray would detract from the Look im going for.

I know home depot has Clear plexi glass. I have a bunch from there.

yeah, I've been thinking of doing this EXACT same thing for a while now, just haven't got the money to do it (I have 17 cents to my name) :( anyway, here's some pics of a guy who I was going to sort of model mine after.....

maybe this will help? I've seen one other case, but this is by far the most clean looking.....
