pricewatch, resellerraitings, and my new computer.

Post by knightofnee1112 »

well i almost have enough money to begin construction of my new PC

Lain Li pc-60
I WILL Xp333
ATHLON Xp 1900
GF4 Ti 4400
60GB UATA/133 HDD
1024MB ram

BUT, after carful "lookage" at both http://www.pricewatch.com , http://www.newegg.com , and http://www.resellerraitings.com for the parts needed to build my computer, i relized, "Hey, im gonna need alot more money if i want to be sure i dont get ripped off." every reseller i looked up on pricewatch seemed to have a bad reputation in reselerraitings, "HUMM, what to do?!" i dotn want to risk giving my HARD earned moolah to a bunch of scam artists. speaking of that, i would like to say that ANYONE, who thinks about buying stuff from http://www.OCIE.com WILL be ripped off!

Anywho, im getting sorta depressed, i almsot feel like it would be cheaper to jsut buy a custom built form DELL or something (EEWWW, the thought of it alone!).

so im hoping while i look at pricewatch and reseller raitings you guy's will pick out resellers whom are good, and wont rip me off. for the parts i stated above, the rest of the stuff i already have :)

THANKS ALL!

Well, I know you could go down to a 1800+ and get it for only $124 from NewEgg.. The 1900 is $158. It's a damn good deal if you ask me. I spent $112 on my 1.33 Ghz Athlon 4-5 months ago..if that gives you any perspective.. :D

Good Luck. I will keep my eyes out for the parts you want.

Just buy it all at newegg.... When u buy more shipping is normally less and its tough to beat their prices as it is... Even if the price on the item is a few bucks more their shipping is usually cheaper so it balances out...

NewEgg's prices are fair, and their shipping is reasonable.

Another vote for newegg. I have delt with them several times and always been pleased. I am sure there are those who have problems with newegg but that can be said of any retailler. Buying what sounds like a kick ass system from newegg or ordering a system from Dell is a no brainer.

Yet another vote for NewEgg, I love those guys...always been good to me in both pricing and shipping time and cost. You might also want to try TCWO.com in Florida as they have good pricing and are honest people, from what I have found out. I bought my 1.4 ghz Athalon for $99 from them last semester, and it seemed to be causing some problems with my mobo, so I called them and they RMA'ed it for me and I got a new one that still did not work for me, but they were willing to swap with me to see if that would fix....let me know that it was my mobo, so I got an Epox and the processor worked fine, then. Anyways, if you wanna check them out...they are honest people...and they normally have good sales goin on.
