cd duplicator?

Post by jocycliff »

I have been placed with the task of finding the right equipment for our shop. Here is the deal

I work for a print shop for UMKC. Of course everyone's revenue is down and we are talking about doing the packs we would copy (paper) before (for our bookstore) on cd's instead.

We do all copying on a digital piece of equipment. My operator gets a job scans it in as a pdf and than rips it to the copier. So I need a way to burn those pdfs to cd. But I don't think installing a plexi 40x is going to do it. I am looking for a free standing piece of equipment that I could send the pdf to and than have it burn 2-3 cd's at a time.

That is the equipment we are working with.

We are trying to keep it around 1000.00 dollars and will optimistically only be burnong 200-300 disc a semester.

Any input would be helpfull.
