Has anybody had a problem with them at all? I ordered an Iwill XP333-R and a 256MB stick of OCZ memory last Tuesday and the status was changed to "Ready to Ship" Wednesday night. I check today and finally get a tracking number, input it into FedEx and the package didn't ship till Friday. Friday?!?!?! It was ready to ship Thursday!!!!! Not only that I get a nice "Partial Shipment" mesage now. IMO, these actions are NOT good business practices. I personally won't buy from them again, just because of the informed state I've been in and the late shipping. Oh and I tried calling probably ten different times on Friday and every time I got a busy signal. And I had heard good things about them too.

That's why you should always check http://www.resellerratings.com/ first before you buy online ... you would've seen at http://www.resellerratings.com/w-z.html that webuildpcs has one rating of 1.0 out of one reply and another with 3.6 out of 40 replies .... and 3.6 out of 7 max is only so-so, a rating where I would think twice before ordering.

Just look at CrazyPC, 97 replies and a 6.9 rating, now that's a store where I would order from right away.

I've ordered from them several times and never had a problem, but it was always small stuff. But I am learning then may be yet another OCZ site in desguise. If so then they are lower than scum and I'll blackball them to the ends of the Earth! :mad If true. Still trying to confirm this. But some of their recent actions as you posted is just like OCZ.

OCZ for those not familar with are total scum. There have been super long threads on their real poor customer service and many many various complaints at ocp and anands. They even had many of their own employees post glowing evals for them on resellerratings to try and make them look better than what they really are. To make it worse and to cover their own tracks they simply open up new online stores with different names so others think they are not ordering from OCZ. Plus they made at last count 6-8 hardware review sites who of course make glowing reviews of things from OCZ and their related sites. They don't know the meaning of ethics.

Well I didn't know about http://www.resellerratings.com, but now I do. All I want is to get my mobo and memory in so I can have my computer back so I can game!

On another note Newegg has great shipping, received my SK6 w/ Delta today. Ordered it last Wednesday and it shipped on Thursday, and with no weekend deliveries w/o paying it actually arrived today when it should have. Gonna try and call webuildpcs.com today and get some answers, cause obviously email doesn't work.

Looks like they are for sure yet another lame OCZ site. Their phone number is only a digit off from other OCZ sites.

Sorry guys, they fooled me too. I'd never have ordered from them had I known. The lamers keep making new sites to fool us.

Man, what a bunch of creeps.

I try and stick with the sites listed off the main pages Links. Have personally ordered from most all of them and they are all very reptuable and honast. At least I hope so. :)

Good point Greg. All the sites we link to are great and trusted people. If any problems come up I feel very confident they'll rectify it asap.

That said, OCZ has asked me several times that thay can send about whatever we want to help promote them. I replied just once saying they don't have enough to make us even consider thinking about that. Why degrade ourselves and promote sites that treat customers like trash. And btw, they remove or edit out bad comments about them at their hardware forums.

Thats good 2 here. Most sites(people) would rather have the Free stuff then stick with there morals.

I got my XP333R from them and it arrived very quickly but they were pretty lame about their web updates regarding "real time" status. I got the mobo before I got the tracking #. haha

Iwill XP333-R 2.1 arrived today. No memory, supposedly backordered. Waiting on hold now to find out when the memory will be in stock and why my order was delayed in shipping. I also ordered a 256MB stick of OCZ PC2400 (same stuff as from webuildpcs.com) from newegg.com today, thanks to the arrival of my federal income tax. Most likely the newegg memory will arrive before the webuildpcs.com stick.
