Free util to monitor HD temperature

It displays your current HD temperature in the tray. It works by using the SMART features of hard drives; thus, it installs a small driver file in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IOSUBSYS\smartvsd.vxd

You have to double click on the Dtemp.exe file, which it will then install this file smartvsd.vxd in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IOSUBSYS folder. You will then have to reboot to load the vxd in memory. After you reboot, then double click on the Dtemp.exe file, and it will dipplay the temp in the tray. Right click on it to set it up.

I had to enable S.M.A.R.T. in the bios. It only shows the boot drive, mine is 35ºC. :) Cool toy.
