well i got the second card and it still defies me im ready for the sledgehammer. is there anything at all i can do to make it work?

Did you go through each item on my troubleshooting list? In particular, did you pull ALL your cards except the video card and try running a game that consistently gives you problems?

- Try reseting your BIOS to all safe default values.

- You may need to flash your mobo's bios to the latest version - AGP support has changed over the years.


Beyond that I'm at a loss. Assuming you have a modern mobo and you do, and considering that 3DMark doesn't give you problems it really smells like an IRQ or BIOS problem.

You can try a different type of card like a Radeon in the same price range.
