that's the MX... go to Tom's Hardware for the #'s...
we have the link on our main page

as for me.. my Ti200 is running faster than a default Ti500...so there's no point of me getting anything else... i guess i'll wait til the GF5 comes out and get the GF4

Now that the GF4 is out, people will be getting rid of the Ti200 & 500's. I will be waiting in line when the prices on teh Ti's go down. Good thing I decided to wait until I bought my new video card! :D

I'm considering the new Radeon 8500 with 128 Megs of RAM. I was going to buy one with 64Megs recently but the new one will cost the same when it is released and I can wait a few weeks since I have a GF2 PRO that is overclocked to above GF2Ultra levels.

And I want the AIW version.

Either way you would be wasting your money.

Are you telling me that you can tell the difference between 130FPS and 175FPS?

The reason that I am considering the Radeon 8500 is because I've heard that the 2d is better. And on top of that it is the equal of the GF3 Ti500 in performance.

You must wait, and keep posting questions about which card is better. Only then, after some other cards have come out, and you have asked a LOT more questions, will it be safe for you to buy a video card.

LOL- this guy is probably 12 planning to spend his upcoming lawnmowing fees....

Are you telling everyone you don't use fsaa and anisotropic filtering in 32-bit color? :o

No, what I'm saying is that I haven't played anything yet that requires any more hardware than I already have. I could care less about 3dmark scores. Real games seem to work just fine in higher resolutions. It's not like he is talking about upgrading from a GF2MX to the latest and the greatest. His video card probably doesn't even have any dust on it yet. :D

If you read the in-depth reviews, you won't be seeing the big increases over the other cards out right now in current games unless you turn up the FSAA. However, the next big wave of games will utilize the GF4 to a much greater extent. Check Anandtech's review/preview for extensive benchmarking.
