XP 1800+ core voltage

Post by NascarFool »

How low will it go ? :) I clocked my XP back to the default speed last night. Then I lowered the voltage to 1.65v. It booted up without any problems. I was amazed that it would run that low. I even ran SiSoft Burn-in wizard for 20 loops. Not one hiccup. The system temp is obviously wrong. :)

*edit* I dropped it to 1.575v and it still works. :)

Not for nuthin' but why would you want to undervolt it? I mean they already run cooler @ default voltage than a T-bird does right? You RMA that mobo yet?
