WANTED: PCI video card with good image quality (prefer Matrox)

Post by FlyingPenguin »

Looking for a PCI video card with at least 4 Mb of ram (so I can run it at 1024x768 at 32 bit) for use as a second vid card on a dual monitor setup. I'm using a 2Mb Millenium right now, but can only do 16-bit at 1024x768 :(

Concerned about video quality so prefer a Matrox card ESPECIALLY a Matrox Millenium, Millenium II or Mystique.

I AM NOT interested in ANY ATI video cards.

Needs to work under Win2K (exept for POS ATI cards, should be a problem).

Currently using a 2Mb Matrox Millenium but I can't run it at over 16-bit.

FP, I've got a 32 meg PCI Creative labs savage 4 just setting around, been meaning to put it in my daughters machine but have no need to really. Want to trade for it? I'll consider just about anything.

That didn't pan out. Anyone else? I prefer Matrox, but I'll consider anything.
