Help with KK266 O/C IDE Lockup PLEASE!

All,
After running a while (like 2 hours), my system locks up, and the red LED (IDE) is stuck on.
I have the latest VIA 4 in 1 Drivers, and this is not related to tht 686B problem I don't think,
because I was not in the middle of transferring any large files.
IWILL KK266-R (not using RAID)
Duron600 @ 800 (133 FSB)
CPU Temp ~ 42C
256 PC-150
WD 20GB 7200
Memorex 48x CD
Win 98SE
On board sound
GEFORCE2 GTS (Latest NVIDIA drivers)
A little hesitant to Flash BIOS unless it really seems like a BIOS issue.

you know what. Mine crashes for no aparent reason sometimes as well. I havent figgured it out yet. I just assumed cause i have scsi in there and it just isnt liking something sometimes. Glad Im not the only one. Hmm...sorry Im not a help.
