I'm got 65 paypal and a 256 Meg stick of PC2100 w/ Nanya chips to trade... Would like to find a 60 Gig 7200 rpm ata/100 drive.... Or a 20-40 Gig drive... Would prefer to trade the ram and cash as 65 is all i have to spend right now... Need it fast also my IBM took a dump on me tonight and my comps down till i get a drive in it... Drive needs to be ata/100 7200 rpm... Might take a 5400 rpm if the price is right... LMk what ya have... Post ot PM me please...

was it a 75GXP IBM? they've had major problems, and there is a pending class action lawsuit against IBM right now, they are replacing all 75GXP's without question for 60GXP's (that have no problems)

so if say i bought a 75GXP from ebay......

they would replace it? with 60GXP what if u live in Canada and the guy u bought it off of was from U.S.A?

maxtor
5400RPM
9MS seek
ata/100
2 meg buffer (woohoo!)

It was a 60GXP that died on me... I ment ot post last night that i found a drive i just ordered a new Maxtor 40 Gig 7200 RPM ata/133 Monster from newegg... And knight go to newegg.com. 5400 rpm drives have a seek of 12ms and that same drive is 90 + 7 for shipping :) i know i almost ordered it just for file backup.
