Unlocking an XP 1800+

Post by NascarFool »

How high should I expect ? I am going to unlock it tonight. I was thinking about trying to push it up to an XP 2000+ . What voltage should I use ? I have the XP 1800+ on an Asus A7A266 right now at stock speed.

No luck. I filled the laser cuts with super glue, then after everything was dried and ready, I used Permatex Quick Grid defogger repair. The stuff just didn't do it. I'll have to buy some better conductive paint and try at another time. I think I am almost too old to play "connect the teeny tiny dots". :D

I hear that. I had to have my daughter read the code off of the cpu core for me as my 40 something eyes couldn't get it done. :( If I eventually decide to unlock this thing, I'm gonna have at least a 6x magnifying glass on hand.
